Yang the Wonder Dog

Yang is a one-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love. His journey to finding a forever home began when his family, facing the heartbreaking loss of their house, reached out to A Path 4 Paws for help. Forced to live in their vehicle, Yang’s family made the difficult decision to find him a better life—a life they couldn’t provide under such challenging circumstances.

Though Yang adores his family, they knew he deserved more. On one of his first days at an adoption event, Yang was understandably nervous, missing the people he loved so much. But that day, something extraordinary happened.

Shannon Mason Photography was at the event, capturing the beauty and personality of the dogs looking for homes. When I met Shannon, I was scared and unsure, but her kindness and warmth put me at ease. She told me I was a good boy (and I really am!). With patience and love, she showed me how to pose so I’d look my very best in the photos.

Now, I can’t stop wagging my tail when I think about how my photos turned out! I hope they’ll help me find my forever family—one that will love me as much as my first family did and can give me the life I deserve.

Our experience with Shannon was wonderful! She took us for a walk down the old strip of Vegas and got a great mix of posed, candid, and semi-candid shots. You’ve heard the rumors, right? Well, let’s set the record straight: they’re all true. I don’t like dogs. Don’t want to be around them. Cats? Ugh, no thanks. I only like a select few people, and honestly, I can be pretty grouchy. I’ve got a few extra pounds (okay, maybe more than a few), but who’s counting? Oh, and I snore—loud enough to make you think a train is rolling through.

Rongratana family

This is our 2nd family photo sessions with Shannon. The kids are growing up so fast so we want to capture the family pictures as much as we can. Shannon and her assistant are very professional. We even discussed with Shannon prior to the photo session on what clothing style/color would be best so that the pictures would suit the background.

When we arrived at the session, Shannon and her assistance already had all the photography equipment all setup for the shoot where they walked us through all the poses and different set of scenes. We swapped into different sets of clothes as well for the photos, so Shannon and her assistant were very patient and assist in the entire process.

Shannon is very efficient, friendly, and very good at what she does. The photos turn out great and my family and I are very pleased to capture the memory through Shannon’s service.

We would definitely will be having her capture our family memories again in the near future. I would highly recommend Shannon's photography service for anyone who is looking for beautiful photographs for their home.
